What Personal Data We Collect And Why We Collect It:

Data is collected by:-
1. When opting into our newsletter sign-up.
This is available via the homepage of our website www.cjdp.co.uk and at the bottom of our ‘Contact Us’ form. Unsubscribe is available at any time by clicking on the ‘unsubscribe link’ at the bottom of each newsletter sent out or by emailing [email protected] and requesting the deletion of your details.
2. When filling in our contact form to make an enquiry.
If you would like your details deleted, please email [email protected] . The details you submit will be kept for 12 months then deleted. No information submitted in the contact form will be used for marketing purposes.
3. When commenting or leaving a review.
When visitors leave comments via our ‘Contact Us’ form, we will collect the data shown in the form, the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string, to help spam detection.

What information or data we hold:
We hold the personal data that you supplied in the course of making an enquiry or filling in our Contact Us form.  The data normally consists of – name, email address and company worked for.
We may hold notes of our communication with you through different channels including butq not limited to face to face communication, email and telephone.
We will not seek personal information from you relating to race, religion, political affiliation, sexual orientation, medical or genetic history and we ask you not to provide such information to us under any circumstances.

How we hold your data:
We will retain the personal information you supply to us in the course of submitting an enquiry, for the purpose of responding to or processing your enquiry.
Your information will be securely stored on hardware that has limited access to only relevant personnel and stored on a server maintained by a third party such as a web host.  Whether held by us on our hardware, or on our behalf by a third party, it will be kept secure and protected from unauthorised access using all reasonable means.

How We Protect Your Data:

Your data is held on a system that has the latest WordPress security plug-in installed which is monitored weekly.  We use MailChimp to store email addresses and details for the purpose of marketing newsletters. MailChimp uses an https secure log-in system.  MailChimp privacy policy is here https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/ 

What data breach procedures we have in place:
Our data breach systems include software installed that alerts us to unauthorised attempts to log-in to our system, monthly malware scans and active security software.  The CJ Design website has approved back end access and is checked daily.

Marketing:

Out Legitimate Interest is to provide marketing information to people who have shown their interest in our services by placing an order or signing up to our newsletter.

Analytics:

We use Google Analytics to track traffic to our site.  Google Analytics does not identify any personal information about the user such as name, email address, address or billing information.  Google tracks site usage based on ISP server location, what device is used to access the internet for the purposes of visiting our site, what browser is used, what pages are visited and how long spent on each page.

Your Rights Under This Policy:

If you have engaged with us, you may request the complete deletion of your details from our systems.  You may request us never to contact you again, we will comply with your request, unless you make a further enquiry with us.
You have a number of rights in addition to those mentioned above, including access to the information (‘the right to be informed’).  If we process your data for marketing purposes on the basis of your Legitimate Interest, you have the right to object. You also have the right to withdraw your Consent to being marketed to, if you previously gave your Consent.
You have the right to see the data held about you and to receive a copy.  You have the right to have any errors corrected. You have the right to ask and be told where your data came from.
