CJ Design were appointed by DTZ as the building services consulting engineers for the following: building acquisition, due diligence survey and investigation of existing services condition; development of engineering services brief; preparation of engineering services employer’s requirements; services supervision, commissioning management and handover.
Liberty Global acquired the top four storeys of this existing office building overlooking Harrods, on a sub-let basis in the summer of 2012.
The contract period of 14 weeks included the design and construction of a high standard Cat B fit out to all four floors including the relocation of the tenant from their existing premises.
The project included the creation of a new central equipment room with 140kVA power capacity, automatic gas extinguishing system, 60kVA UPS and ten satellite communications dishes mounted on the roof.
Due to the high level of global business conducted from this site, the project included an extensive audio visual solution employing telepresence video conferencing facilities and an array of presentation and other conferencing systems throughout the offices.
