World Courier appointed CJ Design to provide advisory services for their new offices and Distribution Centre in Feltham, close to London’s Heathrow Airport.
The existing building combined warehouse and office accommodation covered 55,000 sq ft. CJ Design first audited and assessed the building’s condition as part of the initial professional process. This enabled them to understand the development needs for World Courier’s occupation.
The client then appointed CJ Design to carry out MEP Services for both the offices and Distribution Centre. CJ Design worked directly with World Courier in the UK. They also liaised with the Global Facilities team stateside.
Working in a close team with Cluttons LLP and MCM Architects, CJ Design delivered £2.5 million of construction value in 20 weeks. This translated into a mere 14 week on site construction period.
The project result was standard office “Cat B” services, power, data, security and air conditioning. CJ Design created a new EUMENA data hub with standby power generation and pharmaceutical standard environmentally controlled areas.
